Is the iPhone 3GS out of date? Should I buy an unlocked for T-Mobile?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I want to see what the hype is over Apple iPhones. I want an iPhone 4S but I don't want to pay over 400 bucks for it. Will an iPhone 3GS give me the same satisfactions of having an Apple product even without the retina display?
IPhone 3gs is very not really outdated. It like 3 sconds slower then the iPhone 5… Though a 3.5" screen is very outdated. Also Retina display is a made up word Apple made. Pretty much 90% of all android phones that came out in late 2011-now have "Retina Display". Its just a patented name…
The only hype with iPhones is that they are easier to use.iPhones are designed for people who want a smartphone, but don't want to be bothered with any of the settings or customization options. You're not missing anything, unless you just want a simple phone. Moving from the S2 to the 3GS will be a downgrade.
Out of date? No, since it is still being updated.
If anything I'd look for an iPhone 4. Not as expensive as the 4S but still has the Retina Display.
