Is the iPhone 4 really free?

So I went on apple.com to see the differences between iPhone 4, 4s, and 5 and at the bottom where it tells the prices it says that an 8gb iPhone 4 is free, why? And is it really free? What all would I have to pay for

Its probably free when you sign up for a 3 year term with a carrier such as AT&T or Verizon.

It is free if you are eligible to a new 2 year contract with cell phone carriers. You will need to get a data plan with your phone plan if you do not have one already, and that'll cost you $30 a month.

iPhone 4 - Free
iPhone 4s - $99
iPhone 5 - $199

1 (Q) why?
Because they want you to buy a 2 year contract with ATT, SPRINT, VZW. That way you pay it off per month.

2>(Q) And is it really free?
Not really.

It's entirely free (as long as you don't have a contract still in effect, otherwise there will be cancellation fees) with the three carriers listed. It's only 8GB, though. You don't have to pay anything for the iPhone, but you do have to pay for the service. That's to be expected, though. The unlocked version is $450.

Its a scam don't click on it, and run a virus scan to find any damage that may have been done.

With a 2 year contract… Yes… Thats a good deal and all the major carriers are offering this deal. 4 is not 4S or 5… But its still a really good phone and the price is right.
