Is the iPhone 4s still worth my money?

I need to get a phone before school starts and as a teen it's really hard to get a job and earn money. I have collected $100 so far. Also I want my phone unlocked. So I searched up the 5c and it was too much money. So I looked up the 4s and it was a better price. I just don't know if it's worth my money? Is the camera good? Is it fast? Please let me know.

I had a 4s and I think you can still get them new or at least lightly used for not much. The newer it is the faster obviously. I had it for 2 years and by the end it got a little glitchy and slow at some points but not very often. The camera is good. The front facing one isn't very good. But as long as you aren't a photographer it's fine. You could get a 5 maybe with 100$ But I'm not sure. You could for sure get a 4s in under 100$. Overall I really liked the 4s and didn't have any major problems with it.

If it's a new phone, you should be fine. If it's used… Ehh just watch out

Why not get 5C free on contract?

Its fine & still would get iOS 9 when it launches later this year. Of course its not the best these days as well
