Is the iphone 5s as fast as a mac computer?
I have a macbook but not a iphone. Just curious if the iphone 5s is close to the speed of a mac computer. Loading from page to page on the web, uploading pictures on facebook, watching youtube videos stuff like that.
Loading pages and videos has nothing at all to do with the computer/phone in use, and everything to do with how you are connected to the Internet. The phone could be faster, or not, depending on how the Mac (or any other sort of PC) is connected.
If you've got Google Fiber to the Mac and 3G service on the iPhone, the Mac wins. If the Mac is connected via 56k dialup and the iPhone is using 4G, the phone wins.
The activities you describe are limited by the speed of your network connection, not by the iPhone or the Mac. Even the slowest Mac or iPhone is generally more than fast enough to keep up with most network connections.
- My iPhone personal hotspot network is really slow when I use it on my mac computer? How can I make it faster? I'm connecting them via Wi-Fi. Will doing it through USB make it faster? How do I do it through a USB cable?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- IPhone 5 charges really fast but loses battery life fast? I have an iPhone 5 with the iOS 8 but since I updates to iOS 7 the battery started to lose rapidly. It would be on 100% in the morning and at about 11 would be down to 40%. It would also only take 2-3 hours to fully charge and I think that's why it's losing power so quickly. Is there a way I can stop that?
- Imessage. Can send image from iphone to mac but not mac to iphone? What's going on? Try to send image from mac and error saying "04******** can't receive file transfers"
