Is there a specific way to put you iphone in a bag of rice?
I don't have a big ziplock bag to immerse my phone in a bag of rice. I put a good amount of it in a regular sized one and inserted my iphone 6 plus in there. I was wondering if any way that I put it in there would help my phone?
Just try to have the rice covering most of the phone, especially the holes like the charger jack and creases like the ones on the sides of the screen. The rice just observe the water that is trapped in the phone. However, I would start saving up for a new phone even if it starts working. Water damage can short out your phone a few months after it was submerged.
Take out the battery. Immerse it in the rice as well but take it out of the phone.

- Should I position my iPhone 5 a certain way in a bag of rice? I dropped my phone in the toilet. I got it out immediately and dryer it as much as I could with my towel. It's currently laying flat on top of rice. It's completely covered. I'm wondered if I should let it stand up in the rice or just leave it how it is
- Put my iphone in rice I dropped alcohol in the earphone jack of my iphone 4 last night. When i got home that night i didn't think anything was wrong so i plugged it in the charger and went to bed. This morning it wouldnt turn on so i put it upside down in rice hoping that the liquid would soak up in the rice. I checked it tonight and it turned back on! Is it safe to charge it now? Does this mean there isn't anymore liquid in it? Because it's showing me that it needs to be charged.
- My iPhone just got stolen and i didn't put on Find my iphone. Is there a way i can find it without find my iphone? I have found out that i can remove my iphone from associated devices. Does doing this erase the iphone?
- Is there a bag I can get that holds all tech accessories? I'm looking for a small bag that can hold and keep safe all my tech accessories (iPhone, iPod, Nintendo DSi and their chargers) because I'm a student and I need to keep these items safe from everything else (books, etc.). Where can I find one? Preferably online. Thank you. No cheap and I want it to be USA Made.
