Is there a way around the tracking apps like find my iphone and life360?

My dad is insistent on being able to track me all the time and I'm very uncomfortable with it. I talked to him about this and he continues to track me.

There doesn't seem to be a way around it. If I turn off location services it sends him a notification. It's signed into his icloud so I can't turn it off without his password that he obviously won't give me. If I leave my phone somewhere I won't be able to answer if he (or anyone else) calls/texts me. And the life360 app works even without data and notifies him every time I leave and arrive at the house.

Please tell me there's some genius hack or something I can do to get around this.

You could shroud the phone so the GPS can't get a signal, but not sure if that might also send-out an alert…

The ONLY way to get around this is to hand your dad the phone and say thanks but no thanks, buy your own phone and get your own phone plan. If you are under 18, you are limited to prepaid phone plans and whatever phone you can afford.

Nope, no genius hack, no lying or pretending, just use the phone or turn it off. Or use prepaid until you can afford post paid on your own.

Factory reset the cell will get rid of the tracker app.

Tracking apps like iKeyMonitor can track your iPhone.
