Is there a way around the tracking apps like find my iphone and life360?
My dad is insistent on being able to track me all the time and I'm very uncomfortable with it. I talked to him about this and he continues to track me.
There doesn't seem to be a way around it. If I turn off location services it sends him a notification. It's signed into his icloud so I can't turn it off without his password that he obviously won't give me. If I leave my phone somewhere I won't be able to answer if he (or anyone else) calls/texts me. And the life360 app works even without data and notifies him every time I leave and arrive at the house.
Please tell me there's some genius hack or something I can do to get around this.
You could shroud the phone so the GPS can't get a signal, but not sure if that might also send-out an alert…
The ONLY way to get around this is to hand your dad the phone and say thanks but no thanks, buy your own phone and get your own phone plan. If you are under 18, you are limited to prepaid phone plans and whatever phone you can afford.
Nope, no genius hack, no lying or pretending, just use the phone or turn it off. Or use prepaid until you can afford post paid on your own.
Factory reset the cell will get rid of the tracker app.
Tracking apps like iKeyMonitor can track your iPhone.
- How can I know if someone is tracking my iPhone? Or are there any ways I can find out I had a friend, that knows things I never mention to her. And she is becoming really creepy about my life. I though maybe she is tracking my iPhone but I don't know what can I do?
- My iPhone just got stolen and i didn't put on Find my iphone. Is there a way i can find it without find my iphone? I have found out that i can remove my iphone from associated devices. Does doing this erase the iphone?
- Is there any way around verizons 35$ restocking fee? I have had the iphone 5 for not even a day… And i hate it so much (not saying its bad just not my type) anyways verizon makes you pay 35$ to return it and get a new phone all i'm asking is there any way around that considering i have not even taken most of the things out of the box, i would like to get the samsung galaxy s4.
- Is there a way of tracking multiple iphones from Windows PC? I'm looking for a way to track all of my staffs iphone (which I own) on a Windows PC. We use find my friends app on iphone but want a way to put all of the phones on one map. We're plumbers and want to know where people are for emergency calls, that way we can send the nearest person instead of making 10 telephone calls first.
