Is there a way I can get an iPhone without a data package?
I really want to upgrade to an iPhone, but just can't afford the data package. Is there a way I can just get texting and calling without paying for a data package?
Yes, THE ONLY way to buy a new phone and NOT have a data plan is to pay for the phone full retail and then pick a plan that does not have data, turn off cellular data on the phone and have the cell phone carrier, ALSO turn off data on their side. This is really the ONLY way to get a new phone on any carrier in the US, to give you a phone without a data plan. And I have a feeling that since you can't afford data, you won't be able to afford paying full retail for a phone either.
Nope, because no matter what, the phone will use data.
Yes, BUT it will involve paying full price for the iPhone - which depending on which one you get, is very expensive. The iPhone 6 is $650ish for a 16GB.
T-Mobile and some prepaid services will allow you to add a plan to your phone with no data on it. You just have to make sure that your phone is compatible with their network.
Well if you want to pay a lot of money a month. You should switch to boost mobile or another no contract phone service. Boost mobile offers all the latest iphones from the iphone 4s to the iphone 6 and 6 plus. You'll have to pay full retail, but your monthly payment won't over 60 dollars a moth and you get 10GB a month with 4G speeds depending on your location. I know cause I use the company.
- With Verizon, can two iphones share a data package of 2GB? I have an iphone right now and it costs $30 for 2 GB of data a month. My mom wants to get rid of her basic keyboard phone and upgrade to an iPhone. But she doesn't want to pay an addtional $30 for her 2 GB of data. Is it possible for her to just use some of my data and join my 2 GB plan?
- Version iPhone without data package? So I love my iPod! Pretty much everywhere I go there's Wi-Fi so I use Wi-Fi a lot! I thunk it would be nice to have an iPhone instead of a phone and an iPod. I don't particularly want a data package since a) Verizon's are super spendy! B) Wi-Fi is everywhere in my town And c) it's ridiculous! So can I buy a phone from a cellphone store that doesn't sell plans and just have them put my sm card in an iPhone and not have a data plan?
- USPS lost my package from eBay and the seller refunded me, should I still file a missing package claim? I had ordered the iPhone 7 for my birthday last week and I never received my package. I went through a whole ordeal with USPS (who was no help at all). Eventually the eBay seller was happy to issue me a full refund but I'm wondering if it's worth my time to file a missing package claim.
- My iPhone just got stolen and i didn't put on Find my iphone. Is there a way i can find it without find my iphone? I have found out that i can remove my iphone from associated devices. Does doing this erase the iphone?
