Is there a way I can trade in my iphone 5 so I can get the Galaxy Note 2?

I have AT&T and they (AT&T) offered me $300 for my iPhone 5 on a trade for the Galaxy Note 2.So I would have to come up with $350 more for Galaxy Note 2. I've decided to just sell my iPhone 5 on Craigslist and ask $600 for it. Hardest part is waiting.
