Is there a way of unlocking my unactivated iPhone 4 with my incompatible Optus sim?
Bought an iPhone 4 off my friend that had been unlocked using a french sim type, so i'm having troubles with unlocking it using my Optus sim which is incompatible. Help I'm not sure how to factory unlock it while its unactivated i don't know what to do.
Hi, you can factory unlock it even if it is unactivated. You just need to know the original carrier. I'm attaching two links, the first two describe the unlocking procedure, the last one is for a free carrier check in case you do not know it.
- Why does the appstore say that the app is incompatible with my iphone? Okay my iPhone 3gs has an ios of 4.2.1 i downloaded apps that is compatible with that ios so why does it say that it is incompatible with my iPhone. My iPhone is up to date or updated. WhY? I downloaded the apps through iTunes and when i sync my iPhone to the computer then put the apps in it it say it is incompatible with the iPhone! Why?
- Use iPhone 5c as iPod with UNACTIVATED SIM card WITHOUT computer? So my UNACTIVATED SIM card just came in the mail and I didn't realize that my PC graphics card is dead, so I can't access iTunes and I would like to know if there's a way for me to use my iPhone 5c as an iPod with an inactive SIM card. Currently, my iPhone 5c is at the setup screen and I can't get past it with my inactive SIM card.
