Use iPhone 5c as iPod with UNACTIVATED SIM card WITHOUT computer?
So my UNACTIVATED SIM card just came in the mail and I didn't realize that my PC graphics card is dead, so I can't access iTunes and I would like to know if there's a way for me to use my iPhone 5c as an iPod with an inactive SIM card. Currently, my iPhone 5c is at the setup screen and I can't get past it with my inactive SIM card.
Not sure why it's not working but it should be able to. My old iPhone 5c is inactive but still works. On Wi-Fi even the calls work…
You need a SIM card to activate the phone. Let your carrier activate the SIM and you can activate. Or if you've access to any other SIM card (parents / friends) from the same carrier, you can use their SIM to activate. Or if the phone is unlocked, you can use any SIM card to activate the phone.
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?

Bought an iPhone 4 off my friend that had been unlocked using a french sim type, so i'm having troubles with unlocking it using my Optus sim which is incompatible. - I have a IPhone 5 new unactivated, will any nano sim work in it from the start. UK? I'm on contract with Orange and have received my free upgrade IPhone 5 new in sealed box. Does this mean the phone is locked to Orange. I have heard that if i use another service providers sim to activate it, that network will also work. Any advise appreciated.UK only.
