Is there any point having an iPhone 4S & an IPad mini?

I have the iPhone 4S & would love an iPad mini. I think there great & every time I'm in the apple store I play with one for ages! But the only thing that's on my mind is pretty much everything that my iPhone does, my iPad will do too. What's your opinions? Is there anything the iPad has that the iPhone hasn't? Is there point to having both?

I have Beth and love it! The ipad is better for reading, draw something. And many more things. The bigger screen is good for times I just sit down and go on it, but the iPhones more for on the go. Have a goodday

I have an iPhone 4s and really want to buy an iPad mini.
iPhone 4S I mostly take it as a cellphone for calls and messages, etc.

I love reading comics and watching videos with iPad and iPad mini is more convenient to take outside than iPad 2.

I plan to purchase an iPad mini even I have already have an iPad 2.

If this is the only case to compare then - in buttery or in scree ipad is better.
As, the iPad is much bigger than the iPhone,
The iPad has a bigger battery than the iPhone,
But if you want to make phone call also then iphone is better to use. Through this you can make calls on the iPhone but not on the iPad,
The iPhone has a camera but not the iPad,
The iPhone has more sensors than the iPad

If anything having an extra iOS device to store apps on would be handy. That's the reason why I'm looking to get an iPad mini. To free up space on my iPhone.

  • When having the iphone will i use less my ipad mini? I wanted to buy an iphone 5 when the 5s will be realesd because the 5 will cost less and so i wanted to ask when i buy the iphone 5 will i use the ipad often or it is better to sell it and with the money i get i buy the iphone. I wanted an opinion from some one who have both 5 and the ipad mini which one you use often
  • What use is an ipad or ipad mini to someone with an iphone and macbook? I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini or ipad 2 for someone who already has an iphone 5 and macbook pro. I don't know how useful it will be since they are not likely to use it outside of their home and i'll be getting the non 3g version so it won't be much use when they take it out anyway.
