Is there anyway you can see text messages after you have deleted them?
I just got a iphone a couple days ago but before that i just had a basic phone from verizon. Well somehow my parents have seen some text messages that I deleted and I don't know how they can see them and they are personal things i'm talking to my best friend about. Does anyone know how they can see the messages and if they do is there a way I can make it so they can't see them?
That's kinda impossible. They must have seen them before you deleted them, and they must have asked you about it now.
You can retrieve deleted text messages from iPhone. There are two options:
1. Recover them from the iTunes backup file - This only works if you have synced your iPhone with iTunes recently.
2. If option 1 doesn't work, you can use third party software that will recover them straight on the iPhone (or any other iOS device for that matter).

- Is there anyway to see when someone has read your text message on an iPhone 5? I have an iPhone 5 and whenever my boyfriend texts me he knows when I've read it or not (that's a whole nother issue… ) and I wanted to know if I could know when someone saw/read a text I sent to them, like he has. How come other phones can do this? Isn't that a privacy issue?

I just bought the new lg g2 smartphone and whenever I get a text message I have to unsleep the phone just to see who the message is from. Is there anyway I can have the message show up on the screen if the phone is on sleep similar to what the iPhone does? Or at least show who the message is from. I hate having to unsleep the phone and enter my password every time
