Is there really future technology that already exist?
I was just wondering because when i see on the internet that say " future technology that already exist" i don't think they exist i think they are just prototypes that still need a lot of work to be done on like for instance iron man the movie he has on a exoskeleton suit on but when you see the exoskeleton suit (prototype) it looks nothing like the on in iron man, and don't even get me started on holograms that project out of your iPhone display like where do you see any phone company have any phone that does that and we don't even see hover cars yet ( like the one's you see if futuristic movie's) all we have is regular cars on wheels and the ones we build that are prototypes are like hybrids Helicopter's and car's like there all prototypes… Also where do you see any cloaking devices NO WHERE i want a cloaking device that where all i have to wear is a little chip then i'm i'm invisible not where is have to wear some long cloak with a camera in front of me. And printing organ's aren't anywhere to be found not even hospital's have them yet. So my question is do think we technologically advanced to where we have these in stores and where they won't cost a bomb and they are available to consumers and where they are not prototypes
Yes, that woukd mean we're in the future. The future would be the present.
Sure
Most of that stuff is in the concept stage, we're super advanced, I think its possible for a cloaking device, you have to realize what technology is made up of, how is a chip supposed to adapt to make you invisible? You have to think realistically, the technology will be available in maybe 15-20 years, we right now are in the golden age of technological advances, its advancing so incredibly rapidly. My computer from 2009 top of the line isn't much faster than the newest top of the line phones. Computers from 1998 300mhz was top of the line, now my desktop is 3.7 GHz quad-core, combined its 12.3 GHz it is 41 times faster than a computer from '98, unthinkable to most of the industry in the '90s. Its just a matter of time before we're at the stage of technology you are talking about.
- Touch technology and what is there? What types touch stuff is there besides iPhone tablets and other phones but is there tables like in the films or are we not there yet
- Rolling shutter sensors, why do they still exist? From iphones to dslrs, they all use cmos sensors that use rolling shutters to capture images, are there any dslrs that use digital global shutters, it seems to me that the firms which addopted cmos have taken a step beckwards from the days of CCD sensors. Its been years now since cmos was introduced and it still hasn't evolved a global shutter why? Rolling shuter artifacts can be a real headache and spoil images/videos.
- Is there a blu ray receiver with blue tooth technology that anywone would recommend? I was looking to dump my HTIB for a custom theater set up advised by many audiophile disciples. I wanted to know are there any blu ray receivers with blue tooth. I'd prefer Denon, yamaha, Onkyo, pioneer, polk, etc. I was currently looking at these: http://www.samsung.com/...W-D7000/ZA http://www.highdefdiscnews.com/pioneer-announces-two-new-affordable-5-1-av-receivers-with-blu-ray-3d-capabilities-and-iphone-ipod-capabilities/ Please advise.
