Is this picture copyrighted?

I really want this picture of marilyn monroe on an iphone case for my phone, but the only place I can find the case being sold is in america and its very expensive. Would it be copyright if I sent the image to a business that personalise iphone cases?

Yes it would be copyrighted. Any picture is copyrighted as soon as it's taken. You can try to see if the company will put it on your case but I wouldn't be surprised if they say no.

Any picture that you didn't take or draw yourself is basically not yours to use.

You can still do it yourself, print the picture or a clear film sheet and glue it to the case. The effect will be simiilar

  • Why can't I take an underwater picture with my iPhone 4s? I bought the life proof case and it says you can't take underwater pictures, but when i touch the screen it does't do anything. I have to be above water if I want to open the lock screen It will not let me touch the screen under water. Why? I bought it yesterday along with the phone and have taken it in the water twice.

  • What's wrong with my eye? (picture)? It's a little hard to see, maybe, because my iPhone couldn't seem to get a good picture. It's like 3/4 blue/gray, and 1/4 hazel-brownish looking? What is it? And how rare is it? I've only seen animals with it, no people. I know people have it but I've never met a person with different colors in their eyes at the same time.
