Is this small dialogue grammatically correct? Help ME just 5 lines?
Suzie: Hey, where did you buy that cover?
paul: On Amazon, but i'm not sure.
suzie: Cool. Do you have an iphone, don't you? I'd like a green one for my samsung.
paul: yes i do! You can find one on the web definitely… Anyway, do you want to a movie?
suzie: I have to work tonight.
please, i'm from spain i'm 16 and i'm NOT GOOD in englis help me. Please.
this is for a stupid homework
Third line: "don't you" is wrong and should not be included. These are called "tag questions" and reverse the subject/verb while adding "not." Since Suzie's second sentence is already a question, it should not have a tag question added to it.
Fourth line: After the "Anyway," Paul's question is missing a verb. It probably should say, "… Do you want to go to a movie?"
- Who does my iPhone auto correct my words incorrectly? It changed chilly to chili. Maybe it is possessed by the holy ghost. Always heard he was a bad speller.
- My iPhone won't unlock despite correct password? I have an iPhone 4 and the password has been the same (4 numbers) for the past 8 months. I was able to unlock it fine around half an hour ago, but now it won't work. I'm sure that I typed in the same exact 4 numbers, yet it keeps saying it's wrong and locking me out. What do I do? It won't let me sync to iTunes because my phone is locked. Again, I'm 100% sure I have the right password.
- Is this statement grammatically correct? "I'm looking for a good Twitter client for iPhone. Any suggestions?" --- I'm just interested in the spelling, not the answer to the question. Do I need to use "the iPhone" instead of just "iPhone"? Is it necessary to add the word "the".
- Is this german sentence correct? Danach bin ich mit meiner Freundin einkaufen gegangen und es hat Spass gemacht, weil die Geschafte toll fur Leute in meinem Alter sind. P.S I know there should be umlauts and an esstet in this but I don't know how to get them on iPhone.
