Is this spoilt? Read first before jumping to conclusions?
I'm a 16 year old girl, recently turned 16 and decided for my birthday, I'd want a new phone as my old phone contract was running out and it wasn't working properly. I always knew that to get a new phone, I'd have to pay for it myself and so I do. I decided to get the iPhone 5c in blue as its my favourite colour and seemed like a good phone as my HTC Desire S bugged me a lot. I asked my sister to take out the contract for me and she agreed. I paid her the handset fee and will pay her the monthly fee except this month's as she's treating me to a birthday treat.
Is this spoilt if I pay for it myself and couldn't take it out because I was under 18? I use my phone for the internet, iOS, messaging system and App Store. I need a phone as I go into hospital quite a bit so have to contact people. Read before posting!
You are fine. You aren't spoiled, you actually showed great maturity in how you handled this entire deal. Your phone is important to you, and how you use it is important as well. You picked out a good phone, makde contract arrangements, and are paying it off on your own. Job well done!
You are not spoiled. You are paying for it yourself. It was very kind of your sister to take out the contract, but since you are paying for the phone, it is clear that you are not spoiled. It also seems like you are grateful for what you have, which is a good quality. Keep up the good work!
- Why is my iphone battery jumping levels? I had it at 60% last night and decided to charge it overnight! Then it went to 6% this morning! With the charger still plugged in! What s more, It just turned itself off and I plugged out then in and got 10% Now it's a measly 2%! WHY?!
- Why is apple jumping straight to iphone 8 and not 7s and 7s plus? In the past we saw the 4s,5s,6s,3gs, etc. But why not 7s? Can you tell me why they might be skipping the s series? Or is the iphone 8 going to be called the iphone 7s?
- Why did she call me a spoilt brat? So today I was out with my friend (let's just call her Hattie for this) we came back to my house to get changed for a party and she walked into my room and saw that I just got a new camera and a new iPhone 4S then looked at me an rolled her eyes but I just ignored it then she looked in my wardrobe for something to wear for the party but she couldn't find anything so I told her to look in my other wardrobe then she called me a spoilt brat, just like that
- What if I didn't charge my iPhone 5 before using when I first got it? So I just got my first iPhone ever and didn't know that you're supposed to charge it for 8h first before beginning to use it. I charged it (even though it looks fully charged) as soon as I got home but as it was charging I sent out a few smses. Anyway so I never took it off the charger but Mum says that cos I already started to use it, it will never work at its optimum anymore. Is that true or is it still safe since I used it while it was still charging?
