Is turning on personal hotspot free?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II on contract (Orange/EE) and iPhone 5 on pay as you go (Orange/EE). I want to turn personal hotspot on so that i could get internet from Galaxy Note II to iPhone via Wi-Fi. But i want to know if it is free.
It uses up your internet - so if you have unlimited internet on you contract; yes it's free. However, if not, you could risk very quickly running over your contract.
NO NO NO! I learned that the hard way lol I went thru 4gb of our data, we only got like 5 or 6 a mth, in less than 30 min! It uses your data FAST!
- What additional cost may occur from making my iphone a personal hotspot? I turned on the personal hotspot option in settings on my iphone but it says additional costs may occur. Does that mean it costs money for me to connect my other devices or just if i exceed the amount of 3g i'm paying for.
- Is the personal hotspot option on the iphone safe? I just learned i can use my iphone as a hotpot and i freaked out! Apparently you go settings, general, network, the it says personal hotspot! So is it safe? More importantly does it cost a lot or free?
- Is the personal hotspot for T-Mobile IPhone 6s free? I have unlimited date, but I was wondering if the personal hotspot would cost any extra/make my bill higher?
- Is personal hotspot free for iphone 4s? I have all you can eat data for my iphone 4s and have just found personal hotspot. I connected it up to my laptop and was just wondering will I incur any additional charges by doing so? thanks By the way i'm on network 3 if that makes any difference.
