Is unlocking an iPhone by jailbreak illegal?
So I've been reading about this whole deal on the new law against unlocking your smartphone yet jailbreaking isn't illegal. So what if I unlock my phone through jailbreak? Is that necessarily illegal?
It's against apples rules and that's about it. They don't do anything about it

- Is it illegal to jailbreak an iphone in australia? I know it wasn't illegal 2-3 years ago, but I can't find any information saying it isn't. Is it still legal? My iPhone has lost its warranty, so I want to jailbreak my Iphone and personalise it more to suit me.
