Is Wi-Fi Needed For AirMusic?

I just bought an app off the AppStore, called Airmusic.
It's supposed to let you stream music from your iPhone/iPod/iPad onto your Xbox 360 or PS3 wirelessly.
The only thing is that I have the older (White) Xbox and its connected by a Ethernet Cable. Can it still work? Please Help? I don't want to have spent my money for anything.

As others haven't responded, I thought I'd do my best to help although forgive me I'm no gamer ;-) It should all work fine provided whatever device you have iPhone, iPod etc., is connected to your home Wi-Fi network i.e. The same network used by your XBox. I believe your X-Box can access your network wirelessly although it's always best to have a direct connection, as you have, to avoid Wi-Fi which can cause lag etc.

Not sure of 'AirMusic' but if it's set up and running, all you need to do is 'find' it on your X-Box, just go through your XBox settings and it should be picked up! Sorry, can't give all the specifics of each stage but have a go and all should be fine!
