Itunes on an external drive?
I want to backup all my apps on my iPhone but have less than 1 gig left on my C drive,
I know I would need to install iTunes onto my C drive but then Can I get iTunes to backup my iPhone to an external drive that I have loads of room on
Installing the program on a different drive isn't going to help you at all. Just change the media folder location (where the music etc.files are stored) to the external drive in iTunes > settings/preferences > advanced. You're also gona want to make sure the two check boxes underneath are ticked.

- Seagate External Drive wiping my iPhoto Library As I was importing my iPhone photo library onto my iPhoto file which is saved on my Seagate 3TB External Drive, something went wrong. The cord was barely unplugged after the transfer was successful. The library then began to show weird stuff as it eventually said try to "restore library". I waited as it restored, as after nothing came up. I have lost everything on my iPhoto which sucks. I tried the "option command" and all of that, is my stuff good for gone?
- Is the NAS (Network Attached Storage) the best external hard drive option for a home? I have been looking at the WD MyCloud 4Tb version specifically to store my iTunes music library and any videos I may have in the future. Been wondering if via the NAS, one can access their iTunes music in their cars without having to store the music on a local flash storage drive like on their iPhones. Everything can be remotely accessed through their NAS at home.
