ITunes says I need to update, but its already updated?

So I'm trying to update my iPhone 5 to iOS 7… There's no Wi-Fi so I have to do it with my computer. Problem is, iTunes says I need the newest version of iTunes to update my phone to iOS 7. BUT I already have the newest version (i updated earlier). Then the Apple Software Updater comes up but there's nothing there since my iTunes is up to date… Is anyone else having this problem? I'm getting so pissed.

Try checking again if your iTunes is updated to newest version(11.1)

  • My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!
  • My itunes is 11.0.5 but it says I need to update to 11.0.5? I'm trying to get Ios 7 on my Iphone 5 and it says when I plug it in and click update, "You need to update your Itunes to 11.0.5 to update your phone to Ios 7. But when I go to preferences and about Itunes it says current version 11.0.5, when i click update Itunes it says there's no update, WHY?
  • My iPhone says its up to date but its not? I have the iPhone 4s and every time I go into settings-general-software update, it says my software is up to date with iOS 6.1.3! All my friends have gotten iOS 7 already! Why doesn't mine say I need to update to iOS 7! And how can I make it say that? And I know that the iPhone 4s can get it.
  • My cousin updated his iphone and now its saying to plug it up to itunes? I plugged it up to the computer and it didn't do anything and on the screen it still says to plug it up onto iTunes like it would when you first get a iphone, any thing I can do?
