ITunes Won't import my Audio CDs?
A friend of mine burned me a few CDs recently and I wanted to import them to my iTunes so that I have them on my computer and can put them on my iPhone. Every time I insert the CD into my PC, iTunes pops up and asks me if I want to import my CD. I agree and it says its importing my CD. The first song takes about a minute and then every song after it only takes like 5 seconds to import. The first song usually plays about halfway through and ever song after doesn't play at all, it just skips to the next song, then the next and the next ect.
This has been happening for a while and is really beginning to frustrate me! I have the newest version of iTunes (I updated to see if that would fix my problem) and it has done absolutely nothing! Please if you have had the same problem and fixed it please help a girl out!
I use Windows Media Player and o rip the CD to MP3 then import that into iTunes.
- Would I be cheaper buying lots of singles from iTunes or a portable CD player and a bunch of CDs? I don't really like whole albums of songs and on iTunes they are so expensive about £1.00 per song and there's so many I want! I need them for work next week as I work very long hours and often the radio is turned off at Christmas time for being "offensive" Should I purchase a cheap player and lots of CD's? Or should I buy lots of loose songs and put them on my iPhone? I don't have much money at the moment.
- Why does iTunes need internet access to sync music CDs onto my library? I noticed my internet went out and while syncing music cd's I noticed it didn't show the track names without internet out of curiosity I'm wondering why it needs access to syncing cd's onto my iTunes?
- Itunes won't import library? Just got a macbook pro, and I'm setting up iTunes but it will not sync my music… So i went onto File>Devices>Sync from iPhone so that it would import the stuff from my iPhone onto the mac. The problem is that i don't have all the stuff on my iPhone that i would like on my mac, for example, my movies since it would take up too much space on my iPhone. How can i retrieve all the movies i've bought onto my iTunes?
- I just bought a couple of CDs for $10, is that ok? Like is that a good deal and is it student to buy cds even though I have an iphone (no music on it though)
