Itunes won't open when iphone connected?

When i plug my phone into my computer (windows 8) itunes won't open instead the control center for the printer opens (?) and when you click itunes the phone doesn't show up.

Very common this year. Apple and Microsoft are quietly parting ways so customers get stuck in the middle. Uninstall the iTunes you have. Download the current version and attempt again. I have Windows 7 and have many iTunes complaints. See Apple's forums for other solutions but hope this helps get you in the right direction. Best luck.

  • Wi-Fi Connected - but no internet on devices connected? Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.
  • My itunes won't open on my pc computer? So i tried to open my itunes and it wouldn't open. So i plugged in my iphone to see if it would automatically open. It didn't. i DO NOT want to re-install it because i have done that before and i lose All my music, and i don't have any of it saved. So is there any other way to fix this? Oh, i don't have icloud and i don't want to download any other music programs
  • My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
  • Itunes won't open on Windows 7? I want to get music on my iphone, so i downloaded itunes. But when i installed it and tried to open i get a pop-up that says "Itunes has stopped working." before it even opens. I tried reinstalling it and i even installed an older version to see if it works, but it didn't. Can someone tell me why it won't open? I had a older version of itunes, but after the update, it stopped working. How can i fix this?
