Jailbrocken iphone 4s broken! Need to take to apple store?
OK. So I jailbroke my iphone and it was all working fine until recently. I noticed it was charging really slow plugged into anything but directly into the wall which was a pain a week on from me noticing that and my iphone wasn't charging at all (it said it was) and died because I was playing an app. Now my phone is stuck and will not charge (still says it is but not getting anything but a lighting bolt and a red battery).
I have tried everything, pressing the home button and the sleep button until the apple logo come up (apple logo never came up), trying to put it in DFU mode (the computer doesn't pick up a phone is connected probably because it is dead on charge) and I have tried leaving it for an hour and waiting to see if anything happens still nothing. I had hope earlier when I plugged it into my doc and 15 mins later the apple logo appeared but thats as far as it got (went back to a black screen). I'm now leaving it plugged into the ps3 as I have never tried charging it on this and hoping its going to do something. I want to take it to apple and try get a new phone out of them it won't turn on but it is jailbrocken any chance they will find out and void my warranty?

Added (1). Jailbreak was for apps such as mywi and the cool themes have not used it to get any free apps I have been paying for jailbreak apps and that was the whole reason for it to get the apps that apple doesn't let through
They'll spot it instantly and show you the door, app theft is all well and good until something goes wrong then the cost of replacement far outweighs savings on apps.

They'll void your warranty definitely, they can spot a jailbroken phone a mile off. It doesn't matter what you jailbreak your phone for, they simply won't cover it. They're not stupid so the minute you turn up and they see the phone you'll be given an ear-full.
Warranty is void, apple will not touch it.

- Where is the best place to buy an iPhone 4s: the Verizon store or the Apple store? I don't have an upgrade until January but am looking to buy an iPhone soon. I've been looking at the various sites and saw that there was a huge price difference between the Apple and Verizon stores. A rep at the Verizon store told me I wouldn't even have to change my existing plan, but just pay the $449 for the phone. Why would I buy an iPhone 4s from Verizon for $449.99 when they're sold on the Apple website for $99?
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
- Verizon store or apple store for a new iphone 5? Verizon said I can get an Iphone 5 for "Using my upgrade + $199).Is it true that I can get an iphone 5 at the apple store for $199? If true, Why would I use an upgrade at verizon and pay the same amount for the phone?
- Should I buy my iPhone at the Apple Store or the Verizon store? The plans and the phones themselves cost the exact same; the difference is the care plan. I just can't decide which one is best for me and I definitely want some sort of plan. Apple care is an upfront cost, but it is cheaper. I don't know how long either last, or which one takes care of the customers the best. Any opinions?
