Jailbroken battery won't charge?

This has happened once before, but this time I can't figure out how to fix it. My iPhone 4S is jailbroken and had a weird battery glitch. I had it plugged up and confirmed it was charging all night, but when I woke up it was at 50%. I was gone for 10-15 minutes, and when I came back it was at 34%. I plugged it up and the icon said it was charging but the battery percentage kept dropping lower and lower every minute. My phone was dead within an hour. I've had it charging all afternoon now but it still says there's no charge and won't turn on. I tried removing the jailbreak before it died but it didn't finish in time. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions or suggestions?

Some batteries just can't handle being back on the outside. I think the term is: "institutionalized".

Restore it as new and thusly remove the jailbreak and see if it helps. If you are unable to you're SOL; Apple will not work on jailbroken phones and I doubt your carrier will be of much help. But since you can't turn the phone on anymore looks like you need to buy a new phone.
