Landlord negligence mental condition?

I truly need help.

I live in a house where I share with more 8 people.
Someone stolen my IPhone that I forgot in the kitchen.

I found out who it was 20 days ago. Unfortunately I can't proof.
Since them I'm into anti depression medication because I'm very sad to live there and share house with that person. Also I have constant bad dreams with the person

I gave one month notice to my landlord to leave the house and they refuse and say that I need to wait the contract finish. They know what's happening.

There's any law who protect me to leave the property? I'm really struggling mentally and I don't want this life for me.
Landlord is fighting back.

The landlord isn't responsible for the squabble you are having with a fellow resident. He is perfectly entitled to insist you stick to your contract (you wouldn't like it if he just changed his mind and threw you out if you wanted to stay, would you?).

You're over-reacting massively to something caused by your own carelessness. Nobody needs anti-depressants because someone nicked their phone - there are other issues as well. Get medical help.

You need to separate all the issues. Firstly you signed a contract with the landlord to pay rent for the stated period. The law in the UK protects you and the landlord in this respect. So he can hold you to the contract and vice versa.
Next. If you have had property stolen you should report it to the police. That's what most people do. Also resolve to look after your property in the future.
I'm not surprised that you are not happy having to share with eight others. That would be miserable for anyone.So, with respect, you have brought this problem upon yourself. You will have to wait until the contract ends and try to find a place with far fewer residents. Your doctor may be able to refer you to sheltered accommodation which is more suitable for you. Also, contact the people in the link for advice.

You should not move continue here till the contract ends and face that person aggressively and find out some proof against him. Come out of the depression.

I think there are more serious issues here than so called landlord negligence

Your left your phone lying around in a public area of the house and it gets stolen. Hardly the landlord's fault and hardly the cause to get so upset, unless there are other mental conditions

If you signed something saying you will stay in the house then the contact finishes, then that is what you agreed to. You can't leave early just because you have been careless. Again hardly the landlord's fault!

You need to see your doctor and you need to leave your stuff in your room locked away

You have ^agreed^ to stay in the property for the length of the contract.

You are liable for rent until the earlier of -
1) End of contract
2) New tenant moves into your room (approved by landlord)
3) You & Landlord agree something different.

Landlord has no obligation to agree to anything except (1)

However, why don't you make an attractive offer to the landlord? Maybe if you offer to leave in a months time but pay 2 months rent then the landlord would accept your surrender? The better the offer, the more chance he will accept.
