Laptop won't connect to internet unless hardwired into wireless router? - 1

Randomly this afternoon, my laptop stopped connecting to the internet while it was connected to the wireless router. The only way I can get any browsing ability on my laptop is to hard-wire it to my router. I've been googling solutions for hours and have gotten no help.

My iPad, and my iPhone have had no problems connecting to the internet via the same router.

My computer is connected to the router, but it says "No internet access"

I would really appreciate help on this issue

Things that can go wrong.

1 if you altered(manually set) the IP address of your wireless device, this can be clashing with router features. Make sure the TCP/IP properties show your IP is Auto-assigned.
2 if you have a firewall(av usually have them) this can exclude Wi-Fi devices temporarily (few minutes) turn off the firewall just to test.(right click AV icon to do this)
3 if you have WPA-2 security method selected for your Wi-Fi passkey value then windows updates can affect the security credentials test. This allows you to connect to the router but will prevent data to/from the gateway(the internet). To correct the issue, delete the REMEMBERED(preferred) network and re-join the Same Wi-Fi network(in other words it has to re-ask for your passkey) this will create NEW VALID credentials again and your connection will work. You must display the list of Preferred networks to delete it.
