Last iOS iPhone 5s will handle?
What will the last iOS that the iPhone 5s be able to run and/or how long will it be relevant? I know that the iPhone 4 stopped and one of the iOS 7 updates.
I have iphone 5 and currently on ios 9.1
The latest iOS version is iOS 9.1 which is supported by the iPhone 5. I'd expect to be about 2-3 more major iOS updates for this iPhone model.
The
4s should stop just before iOS 10
5 should stop just before iOS 11
5s should stop just before iOS 12
this is assuming Apple doesn't break the trend like they did with iOS 9 on the 4s.
IOS 7 would work perfectly fine on it and you could even try Leo Privacy Guard in order to gain total Security for your device.
- Will 8GB on an IPhone handle all my apps? I've been looking for an IPhone 4s because my quit on me. The one I have my eyes on has 8GB. I usually download social site apps like Instagram, Facebook, Vine, and every other social media site made. I probably use 3 or 4 a page with a new IPhone with the already installed apps. Will 8GB be enough space for all my apps?
- What wireless router can handle many connections? When all the family is home we can have at most up to 15 devices connected to the router (5 iphones, 2 tablets, 4 laptops, 2 pcs, PS3, and a Smart TV). When they all automatically connect to my current wireless router it becomes very slow. What is a router for about $50-80 that won't get bogged down from so many connections?
- I can't handle having an iphone (it consumes my life) how do I turn it off permanently? My parents don't want to take it and turn off the service, so how do I turn it off myself? I'm 14, and for years it has wasted so much of my time and I need to finally get rid of it. Should I smash it or sell it or something?
- How well does the iphone 4 handle updates? One of my friends said that her 4 couldn't really handle iOS7. I'm just curious if it'll be hella slow with iOS8. I have a 5c, btw and my screen is cracked. How much do you think it'd cost to repair it?
