Limitations on iphone-connected key locators? - 1
Ok so I know you can put locator tags on keys and the like and have it hooked up so it sends the location to your iphone. Question is would there be a limit to how far away you can be before the technology is useless? And if so, what might be the furthest the iphone can be from the locator tags while still being able to find it?
The tags have a limited range. How limited depends on the radio type they use. Expect no more than maybe 100 feet. Plenty if you lose something in your house, but no so much if you lose something outdoors.
