Linux remote desktop with tight vnc?

Growing up with the slop that passed as an os aka windows I'm used to more available software or at least in this department… I have Linux mint 14 running and I absolutely love it. As a matter of fact I only go into windows to game and on my other drives I have Debian Ubuntu and fedora… Anyhow I have real vnc on my iPhone and on windows I could run tightvnc server and connect remotely to my pc… Is there anything that would work for Linux like that or even tight vnc server itself for mint.

Additional details: I'm not a complete stranger to terminal however I much prefer gui

Linux-to-Linux X11 works automatically over SSH

There's various flavours of VNC for Linux, I forget which, or you can run an X11 client on Windows.

  • What should I use to loosen a tight screw? I want to replace my iphone 4 screen (because it's cracked) and the instructions say to take out lke 10 screws. I got 9/10 and the last one is stuck. Whenever I google it, it tells me to use WD40. I don't know what that is or where to get it and I need a solution as quick as possible. I don't want to ruin my phone btw. I don't have time to go and buy it, so is there any other solution?
