Little pit of Tooth pick stuck where you suspose to put a pin, for iphone 4?
Hay guys i just got a new iphone off my mate and me being dumb i shuved a toothpick in the little sim card slot to try and open it. The toothpick snapped because i pressed it to hard and now there's a little bit of toothpick stuck in the hole… Now i can't put my sim in!
Please give ideas on how to get it out!
Well first off you are a little silly now aren't you the toothpick would not even get 1/4 of the way in let alone anything else. But to dislodge it what you want to do is simple.
First get something that is strong and narrow such as a needle, ear ring (stud) of just a thin piece of metal that will fit down between the toothpick and the hole.
You want to do this very carefully as it may slip a couple of times and pierce the skin. But you want to get the pin down between the toothpick and the the SIM card hole this will probably get stuck which is what you want and when it does push the pin away from the toothpick so it grips it and slowly remove it it should either remove it or lift it out enough to be able to pull it the rest of the way.
If that don't work try getting something thin and sliding this inbetween the SIM card slot and the tray and try to pry it open but be careful not to break anything or pry to hard.
Also if these don't work then go to an apple store they may be able to help you.
Next time be more careful as and don't try and force anything down there.
