So go to a Wi-Fi hot spot. You don't need a SIM card to get 2 step verification. I have an old iPhone 6 that still receives the numbers when I log into my Apple account when I use the 2 step. It doesn't have a SIM card.
Your other option is to log into your Apple account and turn off 2 step.
Previously registered Apple devices can still support 2 step verification over Wi-Fi without a valid sim card.

- Locked iPhone and need sim card to use because I restarted it but i don't have the specific sim I need. Please i'm desperate? - ICloud problems. Won't stop connecting iPhone and iPod. Need steps to stop it? I have an iPhone and my little sister has a iPod that are both set up under my name. Ever since I updated her iPod everything I download starts downloading on her iPod. I even deleted my iCloud account on my phone and her iPod (ended up losing all my contacts over this).It's starting to get really annoying. Can someone please give me steps I can follow to end this connection. Don't tell me to call apple or whatever because I don't have 2 hours to sit on the phone.
