Lock button on Iphone 4 broke?
My sister knocked my IPhone out of my hand and the case popped off and not the lock button isn't working. It isn't stuck or anything. It's still clicking and everything but the screen just won't lock. How can I fix it?
Take it to your service provider or a cell phone repair shop. If not, in your settings you can put a hidden touch button on your screen so you can lock it without using the button. It's especially for that purpose, since the buttons are known to stop working.
Go to the Apple Store usually for something like that they will give you another one free but since you said it was an iPhone 4 i'm guessing the warranty is expired so I would sell that one on eBay and describe what's wrong with it you could get about $125 for it then put that as a down payment on a new iPhone… I think if you buy an iPhone 5 from the apple store there's a monthly payment plan but I'm not 100% sure so check that out!
