Locked/Blocked IMEI in Scandinavia - Iphone 5?

My Iphone 5 was stolen in Indonesia.
And when I came home to Scandinavia, I found a new one in a taxi on my way home from a nightclub.
The one I lost was insured so I have gotten a new one from the insurance company already, but since the one I found in the taxi is IMEI blocked, what can I do with it? I do have a couple of friends in Asia, so would it work if I gave it to someone there?

You should give the police in Sweden the one that you found. Keeping it is the same as stealing according to Swedish law. Doesn't matter if you found it in a taxi or actually took it from a person.
