Locking the iphone 4 from using mobile network?
Is there a way to block the iphone 4 from using the carriers mobile network, I'd rather just use Wi-Fi hotspots to avoid any over usage of the plans network. I have read that the phone randomly access's the network for certain aps, so I'm wondering is there a way to prevent it from accessing the network, and I'd prefer not to jail break the phone. Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

- Why is my iPhone locking and trying to turn off by its self? My iPhone has been trying to turn itself off and locking the screen for ages, at first i thought that it would go away but it hasn't, it also turns itself back on if i turn it off does anyone know how to make it stop?
- Why does my iPhone 5 keep locking itself? My iPhone 5 has recently been locking itself whenever I'm using it. Sometimes the "Slide to Power Off" screen will appear out of no where. Whenever I turn off the phone it just turns itself back on. This is the only problem I've had with it.
- My iphone keeps on flashing and locking by itself every few seconds? Since 5 hours ago my iphone 5 has been flashing every 10 seconds intervals or so and it will lock by itself and turns on back to the lock screen by itself. It would even flash to the power off screen at times. I've tried syncing, charging and restarting my phone but things won't change. (I've had my phone for almost a year now + the decrease volume button is spoil) should i claim from warranty or are there any way i could resolve this flashing issue by myself?
- My iphone 4s has been stolen what does locking it do? My iphone 4s was stolen and i'm planning on locking it. Does this mean the sim card will be locked or the whole phone? Reply as soon as possible would be appreciated.
