Loose IPhone 4S home button?

I've only had my iPhone 4S for 2 weeks now and I've been using assistive touch but the other day I was feeling my home button and compared to my brothers home button(iphone 5) it felt real solid and mine feels loose and wiggly. I can't return it to an apple store because I don't live near any of them. I don't want to already use my replacement so what should I do or is this normal?

Your should be under your initial warranty within 30 days.call up apple and ask if it will count towards your replacement, being as it is new.

  • Would the apple store be able to quickly fix a slightly loose iphone home button? I recently bought an iphone and the home button has the slightest give that really irritates me. I want it to be perfectly screwed in so that when you press the button it is nice and seamless. If i brought it in to the apple store would they immediately take care of this minor issue?

  • Rubber over my silence button on my lifeproof case is loose, is it still water proof? So it's served me well all this time ( I have the iPhone 5c) one day I was silencing it and the rubber above the switch came loose and underneath I can see sort of a black switch cover and the rubber is pealing, is it still water proof (I'm sure not) but how can I redeem any sort of warranty I can redeem (it's been about 3 months since I got it) and if so how do I redeem it? Real help is appreciated, not assumptions thank you!
  • My iphone 5s button feels loose and I don't have a warranty? I got my iphone 5s on October 10. I don't have a warranty or insurance on it. My home button feels wiggly and loose; it makes little clicking sounds. Is there anything i can do? Will they replace it because I have never dropped it or anything?
