Lost contacts, text and photos on my iphone?

I was updating my iphone earlier and before this i backed it up but when i restored the back up didn't come up as an option to restore to so i had to restore it to a state 3 months ago, i tried again and still won't and the most recent backup somehow has nothing on it. I have lost so many contacts, important texts and picture of family and friends due to this. I'm so annoyed at this so can anyone please tell me if i might be able to get them back

You can use recovery software to get back your contacts and texts. You might be able to use it to get photos back, but I'm not sure. The software I used was from Enigma Recovery.

Someone reset the password on it, so i followed the instructions to delete all data and i'm currently restoring all the data from a previous sync with itunes. When it is done restoring the data, will my pictures and contacts still be entered in it?
