Lost iPhone - blocked imei - now found, can I unblock?
I lost my iPhone but someone kindly returned it to the hotel I lost it at. I reported it stolen/ missing at the time and it got blocked- obviously I can't really afford a brand new iPhone 5 when this one is fine but now my sim doesn't work (no signal just 3G) if I go to O2 with proof it's me will they unblock it for me?
I don't understand why people ask these kinds of questions here.
Suppose we all told you "No". Would you really just believe a bunch of random people you don't know and waste hundreds of dollars on a new phone, and not bother checking with O2 anyway?
And if you do the smart thing and check with O2, why bother asking here at all?
Plus, what's the worst that would happen if you *did* check with O2, besides them saying "No"? Nothing!
So just ask them!
No, once blocked it can't be unblocked.
sell it for parts and buy a new one.

- Is there anyway to unblock an IMEI number? Some more information: I bought the phone off of craigslist, it is an iPhone 5S, my network is T-Mobile, and it says it's stolen when I check the IMEI number on T-Mobile's website. It worked for a few months until recently
- Is their a way to unblock a blocked iphone? I believe the phone was reported lost so i wanted to know, if something could be done that will let me be able to call and text. Or if i'm waisting time and should just get my money back from where i got the phone.
