Lost My Purchased Ringtones on iPhone 5 after iOS 6 Update?
Okay, so I've had my iPhone 5 for a couple of months now. I like it a lot.
But that is besides the point. Today, I synced my iPhone to my laptop so that I could get some music that didn't download from the backup from my iPhone 4S. When I got the 5, all my ringtones successfully downloaded during this. But when I went to sync it, iTunes asked me if I wanted to transfer my purchases. I did so, knowing that iCloud can fail once in awhile.
I now only have 3 of my 20-something PURCHASED ringtones. It shows up as "On this iPhone" in the syncing menu, but they are greyed out and I can't use them on the phone. Apparently this has been happening a ton in Apple products. In my iTunes, it's showing that I have 3 tones, but it says differently. Can someone help me at least transfer them, or something? I really want my ringtones back.
Go to iTunes on your iPhone 5 and go to purchased and redownload them from there
I'm having the same problem but updated to iOS7 and I went to purchased and it only has purchased songs not tones
My don't even show up in the purchased section. I have proof I bought them on my computer but they won't sink anymore with my iphone. What a scam
- Searching.after IOS 6 iPhone Update - Lost Signal completely? Have just updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 6, and now have lost my network completely. Instead of Orange i now have "Searching… ". I have gone to settings > general > reset > reset network settings and also "reset all settings", still nothing… Anyone else experienced this?
- Restoring lost iphone photos after update? Right, basically my dad is a right techno noob and he has not backed up his iphone since january (or so it says). He has recently just installed the new ios6 and after this he has lost all of his photos and is only able to get a back up from that of january. Surely itunes would have backed it up before the update? It doesn't look as though the photos are on the phone at all, but i was wondering if they would have been stored anywhere? any help would be great
- Purchased songs lost after reinstalling iTunes? I had to delete iTunes today then reinstall it because my iPhone wasn't being detected under Devices. I easily transferred my purchased songs from my phone's iTunes but the purchased ringtones I had aren't there anymore. They don't show up in the Tones section of anything. I checked my iTunes purchase history and they're clearly there. So how do I get them back or find them?
- Lost ringtones on iPhone 4S? I previously had an iPhone 4S and I had to get a new one because of a different problem and I had to get a new iPhone 4S. I got everything but I Can't find my ringtones anywhere. I looked on iTunes and everywhere on my phone and I just can't find it. I do not want to buy them all over again.
