MacBook Air or iphone 6 plus?

So I don't have a phone and am planning to get the iphone 6 plus, but now I'm debating wether to get a expensive phone I don't desperately need or a MacBook which will help me with school work etc.

The price for both is approximately the same

With the iphone I can make calls, text, listen to music etc. Whereas as the MacBook I can do homework and browse the web that's pretty much it.

Total strangers can't tell you what to get. If you're definitely getting a new phone but don't have a computer then the choice really is between a phone and a MacBook on the one hand and an iPhone and no laptop at all. Or maybe you have no phone but do have a laptop. It's difficult because you don't say anything about what you've already got.

  • Should I get a MacBook Air or an iPhone 5S/5C? I got enough money to buy an iPhone for my birthday, but my mothers says that if I save my money until Christmas, I can get a MacBook Air. My phone is an old samsung galaxy ace, and it has all sorts of problems. It has very limited space and a very short battery life, and is super slow. My family's PC is slow, and is running out of space. I need that space for documents, and to be able to synch my iPad with iTunes. This is a really tough decision, please help!
  • Should I buy the iPhone 5 or Macbook Air? So I'm saving to get one of them but I'm not sure which one! I already have a phone but it's the Nokia C3-00 so it's quite old and I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now. I don't have my own laptop but I share one with my mum and I can use it after school only and I can't take it to school because she uses it for work. (The laptop is an HP laptop not an Apple product.) I also have an iPad Mini.
  • Macbook Air or iPhone 6 Plus? Which will i choose? I have already a macbook pro. And i think its really heavy i want to replace it with other one I have a Note 3 but i think getting an iPhone 6 Plus is a good upgrade. Which is a better upgrade between the two?
  • Macbook Air 13' or iphone 6 plus? I'm considering buying iphone 6 plus or a macbook air 13'. I own an iphone 5 right now - i got it replaced in august 2014 - but it's battery life is very low, and It barely lasts me a whole day when everything in settings is disabled. After updating to ios 8.1 it's sluggish sometimes and doesn't handle many tasks at once - like personal hotspot and spotify running together. So i'm asking you all what should i buy because I'm undecided. Please reply
