Should I get a MacBook Air or an iPhone 5S/5C?

I got enough money to buy an iPhone for my birthday, but my mothers says that if I save my money until Christmas, I can get a MacBook Air.
My phone is an old samsung galaxy ace, and it has all sorts of problems. It has very limited space and a very short battery life, and is super slow.
My family's PC is slow, and is running out of space. I need that space for documents, and to be able to synch my iPad with iTunes.
This is a really tough decision, please help!

You have more than one mother?

Depends on which do you need more? Macbook for work and stuff like that or an iphone for more personal uses.

It is a tough decision but I would get the MacBook Air

It really depends what YOU need the most right now.
If you still have a functioning phone, go for the Macbook Air.
A new laptop can be useful for school, work, and other things.

An iPhone is great if you really need a new updated phone to be able to use it on-the-go.
I would go for the Macbook Air though and maybe you can wait until you can get an upgrade on your phone or save up again for a phone.

Macbook

You could get the macbook air… Sell it if you don't need it… And with the money you get from it, buy TWO iphone 5s's. No brainer man. Go with the device that is about double the money.

Truthfully that Macbook Air will last you longer than that 5s or 5c cause there will be another one out in a years time and then you would want that. But normally a home computer lasts years cause not many people buy a different computer every year. But hey if you were looking forward to buying the 5s then I suggest you look at some reviews to see if it is a good phone or not

  • Which should I get, Apple ipad pro OR Macbook Air? I can't decide which I want, and which is the better option. I like the ipad pro (most likely the 12.9) because of the touch, pencil and the app store. I like the macbook air because its light, still integrates with my iphone, great battery life and the ability to run programs. This device won't be used for anything crazy. I still have a windows laptop thats used quite a bit. Any thoughts or suggestions?
  • Should I buy the iPhone 5 or Macbook Air? So I'm saving to get one of them but I'm not sure which one! I already have a phone but it's the Nokia C3-00 so it's quite old and I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now. I don't have my own laptop but I share one with my mum and I can use it after school only and I can't take it to school because she uses it for work. (The laptop is an HP laptop not an Apple product.) I also have an iPad Mini.
  • Is the $999 2012 11 Macbook Air good enough for iphone game/app development? I want to make games and apps for iphone and ipod touch so bad but not sure if the specs of the 11" 2012 mba are good enough seeing that the processor is at 1.7 ghz. I plan on upgrading the ram when i buy it to 8gb. Will this mac be good enough to develop games and app for iphone and ipod touch smoothly?
  • I need to transfer my iphone to my new macbook air? I have my iphone completely backed up on my old PC, and now I'm moving it all onto my new mac. I've tried a *** ton of programs that are only free trials and only let you transfer like 50 files. I can't simply transfer purchases on itunes either because most of my music was not from itunes… I just need a way to move all my songs, easily. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
