Mail app on iPhone removing emails?
On my iPhone I use the mail app. But although my emails come onto it fine, they go within about 5 days. So it only shows my emails from like the past five days. The emails aren't deleted because if I open my account via safari they're all there. Is there a setting to change this? Because on my brothers iPad he's got emails from months ago but I can't see any difference in the settings. Any suggestions?
Added (1). It's already set to show 1000 messages. Each time I open mail it checks for mail and the oldest email on there will go
Go to settings- mail, contacts, calendars, change how many Emails you want to get. You're probably have it at 50 right now change it to 1, 000 or something more than 50.
Do you get a consistent amount of emails a day? If so you mane need to tell theiphoen to show mroe than the default 50 messages… Settings, general, mail contact calendars and then under the Mail area there's a setting to SHOW "50 recent messages" thats the default setting. You may need to bump that up.

- Is it possible to update read emails on iPhone before opening Mail app? It's super annoying when my Mail app displays a number of unread messages and when they appear on the lock screen, after I've already opened them on my computer. Is there any way to get it to update read emails, so I don't have to open Mail to get the badge counter to go away?
- Iphone 5 Apple Mail not sending Hotmail emails? Today, my phone started to not send Hotmail emails from the mail app. It has worked before, but now it gives me the " And Error occurred while delivering this message." I still get emails, I just can't respond. I can respond on the computer, and I can use any other email (Gmail, for example). I have tried deleting the account and re-entering it, but that didn't work. I also tried with a new email, which did not work as well. Both of my Hotmail accounts did not work.
