Making amplifier for for 5 watt speaker?
Okay, so i have a 5 watt speaker that i want to install in my dirt bike helmet and i want to play music with my iphone 5. There's only one problem, if i plug in the speaker straight to my iphone it won't play music loud. I need an amplifier but i can't have anything to big because this speaker and the amp has to fit into my helmet. I also i have no idea what to make the amp out of or what kind of amp i need to buy.
Uh… Look into some earbuds.
Google pocket amplifier. There are plenty of construction plans but it seems to me that something small enough to put in to an helmet should be already made. See what they do at motorcycle shops.
Do not use buds. That on a dirt bike is asking for jammed into the ear troubles.
- Will Audio-Technica ATH-M50's work without an amplifier? I'm looking to get the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones. I would mostly be using them with my iPhone 4 and my Macbook Pro 13". I listen to all sorts of music, from folk metal, hip hop, jazz, and pop. I don't know much about these higher levels of headphones but I know this pair is very good for the price. I have read a bit about portable amplifiers, but I don't know what that really is and if it would be necessary.
- My 'Touch Speaker Boombox' is making weird clicking sounds So today I just bought my Touch Speaker Boombox, and when I place my iPhone 4 on, the music quality is fine but a clicking sound can be heard. It's also like the clicking sound is part of the music, as when the volume is turned up the clicking gets louder, but it isn't. Any other phone/tablet is ok, it's just my iPhone 4. Anyone else have this problem or can help?
- Making twitter account public? So my laptops broke and I've forgot my twitter password but I'm signed in on my iPhone, is there anyway I can make my profile public from my iPhone?
- Making 3 way or conference calls on the iPhone? I'm so lost when it comes to conference calls. They don't seen to work as easily as an other phone. When I'm on the phone with someone and add someone else I merge the calls but then I can't seem to end the call with one person and continute talking with the other like the swap option is grayed out so I press end and everyone gets disconnected! Then I could be on the phone already and get a call and when I try to merge the call this option is like grayed out! Why is this?
