Messages sent from one iPhone showing up on another?
There are 2 iPhones on one account. Just yesterday, a message was sent from one but it appeared on the other and the other received the reply. Something did come up on the original iPhone but it is not remembered what it said. It was about settings. It was working fine before. How to I put things back?
It must be syncing the messages as they are on the same account. Try switching one to a different account in settings or in messaging.
If you have both apple devices linked to the same email the iMessage will send to all of your apple devices linked tithe account.
To get rid of it…
Go to the phone that you personally use and open settings, then messages and turn off iMessage.
Another way is to create a separate Apple ID that way the two phones aren't linked to the same account

- Why do my iPhone messages keep getting sent to my phone and another phone? Whenever a message gets sent to my iPhone 4, my brother in Vermont also gets them on his iPhone 4S. So like ill be texting my friend and he can see the entire conversation and he can type. I don't get his messages though. I just wanted to know if there's an easy way to fix this because it just started happening about three weeks ago and none of us have gotten a new phone in a year. I'm not sure if it happened when he went back to College and he crossed a state border?
- Sent multiple photos from my iphone 4S to my email and they're not showing up? I attached about four photos and sent them about an hour ago to my email but they're nowhere to be found. I just tested sending one photo and it worked almost instantly. Are they just lost? Do you think they'll show up? I'm using my Wi-Fi for internet not my data so shouldn't this be quicker?
- My sent folder is not showing all the emails I have sent. Why is this happening? This seems to be random, with some showing and others not. Since Thursday, nothing I've sent out is in the sent folder. More worrying, on my iPhone, the entire sent folder has been emptied.
