Missing calendar entries on my iphone?
I have an iPhone running IOS 6.0.1. I have been using Yahoo Calendar for 6 years and never had a problem. Recently I noticed there are missing calendar entries. About 25% are missing. I have deleted the calendar from the iphone and added it back. No luck. I also tried synching only the last few months rather than All EVENTS but this did not fix it either. When I logon to yahoo calendar from my laptop, all the entries are there. I also tried terminating the application and restarting it. It is not synched using a CALDAV address - I just gave it my userid and password. Any ideas?
If you created a backup of your iPhone during the update process, you can recover your missing calendar entries. If you did not create a new backup, you can't recover the deleted calendar entries. Click the "Summary" tab in iTunes and click the "Restore" button. Select the backup created during the update and click the "Confirm" button. Your iPhone will restore your calendar entries. The restore process will also remove the update from your IPhone, so you will need to update your iPhone a second time after restoring your calendar events.
- Why does iPhone automatically delete calendar events from months ago? And how do I make it stop? I use my iPhone calendar a lot and sometimes I rely on it by scrolling to previous months to see when I went for certain appts but it automatically deletes last events without asking? I know I can make special events like bdays repeat weekly or yearly but some events don't require that function, I just want to know when I went to my appts for example, what day and time it was my dentist appt. Can anyone help?
- Why did my iPhone delete all of my calendar entries? Yesterday afternoon, I sync my iPhone to my computer and let it backup. All my dates were there on the phone (while it was plugged in). This morning, I look to see why my phone hadn't alerted me for work. It turns out that all of my entries (except for birthday associated with contacts) have disappeared! Can someone tell me what went wrong and how to get them back?
- Syncing iPhone/Mac calendar? I've already synced the calendar on my mac with my iphone but I was wondering if it already did or if there's any way to where if I were to add something to my calendar on my phone it would sync and automatically add that event to my mac?
- Safari and calendar won't open on my iPhone 4? So i try to open my safari and it'll try to open but eventually end up crashing as well as my calendar. I've tried resetting my settings and hasn't helped at all.
