Syncing iPhone/Mac calendar?
I've already synced the calendar on my mac with my iphone but I was wondering if it already did or if there's any way to where if I were to add something to my calendar on my phone it would sync and automatically add that event to my mac?
Well it depends on which software you have on both devices. For the iPhone you need software 5.1.1, 5.1, or 6.0 (developers only.) for the Mac you need OS X Lion or OS X Mountain Lion.
To sync the calendars on all devices, on the iPhone goto settings, iCloud, Calendar on
For your Mac go to settings iCloud, Click Calendar and Reminders
Then for both devices, goto the calendar app, and click the icon in the upper left that says "calendar" Click all the iCloud calendar's.
Or to find the calendar on any computer or device goto www.icloud.com and sign in
- Will syncing my iphone on my new mac make me lose everything? I just bought a macbook air and i have my family's pc desktop also. I want to put everything from my iphone music, contacts, etc.onto my macbook air without having it getting deleted. I want to be able to put songs from my air onto my iphone. In the end I want to put everything from my iphone into my Macbook airs itunes, without loading my whole family's library on it as well.
- SYNCING OUTLOOK CALENDAR W IPHONE 5? I know how to sync my outlook calendar to my iPhone through iTunes but you have to do this every single time you make a change. Is there a way to have my outlook calendar automatically sync to my iPhones colander without connecting it to iTunes.
- Syncing iphone to a new mac laptop? I just bought a mac laptop and want to sync my Iphone to it. It was previously synced to my sisters. I want to do this without losing my photos, contacts and messages, I don't really care about music so much. I know there's a way of doing this because a friend has done it before they just can't remember how because it was a few years ago.
- Is there an iPhone calendar or planner app that I can sync to my laptop (PC)? I'm a busy grad student and need a way to keep my calendar with me at all times and I hate using just the iPhone to do so! I like to be able to type on the computer when possible, the touch screen on the iPhone is just so tedious! I'm looking for something that I can pull up on my computer, edit information, then have it also sync back to the iPhone app or something of the sort and vice-verse. I have no idea if this even exists but would be grateful to any help offered!
