Mobile phone calling or texting from abroad?
Will I know if my girlfriend is overseas if she calls or texts me on her iphone will the call show differently? Like show the country code for example or will it appear just normal?
It will appear normal, the same way that if you called or text her number from your phone it would go through to her. On the other side though if you called her your number would show up as an international number.
- Using Iphone abroad for texting? I'm spending a couple months in Peru and I don't get any service on my Iphone, but I've found that while in Wi-Fi areas I can send and receive messages to and from other Iphones. I know it won't charge me as I have no service here, but I'm wondering if it will cost the people who i'm texting, especially if they aren't in a Wi-Fi area when sending/receiving the texts
- Person keeps calling and texting me? So today this random number started calling me and texting me saying some crap. I have a jailbroken iphone so i started text bombing him and then he starts saying he is going to come to my house and fight me and i also posted his number on face book. He knows me some how or atleast knows someone thats knows me cos he got my number and he knows my name and where i live. I have no idea who it is but he is being a dick to me so what would you recommend i do?
- Is it possible to have just texting/calling on an iphone 3G? Description of my phone: Iphone 3G AT&T is my phone provider. So I want to have texting and calling but I don't want the internet, or anything like that. Is this possible! My parents said no, but I think you could, couldn't you?
- If I block other iPhone users from calling and texting me, will they know? I've got a 4S and was wondering if I blocked a couple people in my contacts with the same phones if they would know? What would happen if they called or texted me? Really need to know before I go ahead and do this, that way I don't get criticized for shunning them out of my life. I just can't deal with their annoying and ignorant texts anymore. Some friendships just don't last I guess and I'm too kindhearted to just tell them to downright quit texting me. Thoughts?
