Moving from iPhone to Sony Xperia Z?

So I have enjoyed the last 2 years with my Iphone 4 and its time for its plan to finally end *cheers* I was wondering to keep the phone until it dies or make the swap to an android preferably Xperia z or something else. I haven't had much. If any experience with android phones and was wondering if there's much of a learning curve. People have said that I will regret going to android. So I was wondering if any people out there have made the swap and have an opinion their willing to share. Or just a general preference in phone, opinion on the Xperia z or anything else.

It would be great. The Xperia Z has a great 1080p screen which is the biggest reason for getting it. Android is not as smooth as IOS but is nice, customizable and is getting fluider with every new version and newer processors. As the Xperia Z is Sony's current flagship it will surely get upcoming Android updates.

You will be pleasantly surprised. I moved from an iPhone 2 in Xperia and it is night and day I can't put my xperia down.
I wasn't used be able to do things like download free movies then watch in in HD on my TV
As well as having Bluetooth
