Must i continue my contract with At&t after factory unlocking my iPhone 5?

I have bought an iPhone 5 which works on At&t, and i want to know if i can forget about my 2 year contract after factory unlocking.

Nope your contract still stands, they don't give two sh*ts whether you factory unlock or even lose your phone, you still have to make those monthly payments. The only way out is to cancel your contract early, which usually means inccuring a cancellation fee which is usually quite expensive.

No I recommend sprint great company

You can't cancel contract with your service provoder. If you really want to get rid of at&t then you will have to pay cancelation fees which will cost you too much. So better stay tuned with at&t or ring customercare if they could help you by givibg discount on cancelation fees.

A contract on a cell phone is like a lease in some ways. You got about $400 off on your iPhone which you basically said you would repay as part of your monthly bill for the next two years, although that isn't official, it's the gist of the deal.AT&T is not being unfair to hold you to this. Usually cancelling costs up to $350, possible dropping down slowly the longer you have already had your contract (and thus the longer you have been effectively 'paying on' your 'lease'). If you do cancel, it isn't a bad thing for your credit so long as you pay that cancellation fee, which they may refer to as an ETF (early termination fee).
Some carriers are starting to put iPhones on prepay. You could discuss with an AT&T rep if there might be a way to convert to prepay that works out cheaper for you… Probably not much of a difference, though.

Hi. I'm happy to tell you where I unlocked my AT&T iPhone that I needed unlocked As soon as possible as I was set to travel for international business. I got my iPhone permanently unlocked with what they call a factory unlock. They notified me that the unlock was complete and all I had to do was sync my iPhone with iTunes and a message on iTunes came up congratulating me on successfully unlocking the iPhone. I unlocked my iPhone with http://www.iphonefort-mobile.com/. I received excellent correspondence with Celine who was very helpful. Thanks and good luck with unlocking your iPhone.
