My 4 hour long MP3 won't play onto iphone?

Added (1). I recently burned an audiobook into mp3s and put them into iTunes. They play in iTunes with out a problem, but when they sync over to my iPhone it says "item not available". It is several 4-5 hr long mp3's so that could be the problem. Just wondering if there's any specific reason that this doesn't work.

Should have bought Android.

It's definitely to long and therefore to big.

I'm not aware of any size limitation for an iPhone to play content, for the same reason you indirectly referred to. Audiobooks. I'd suggest going over the process again to see if anything was wrong there.

  • Why won't my Amazon MP3's sync onto iTunes? I downloaded two albums today from Amazon.co.uk via the usual Amazon mp3 downloader. But, when I open iTunes and sync my iPhone, the albums do not automatically appear as normal. Yet, the files for the downloaded albums are in the iTunes folder in 'My Music'.
  • Transferring MP3 to iTunes, MP3 not working? I downloaded 40 MP3s in my computer and as usual, I drag them to iTunes so I can connect it to my iPhone. But only 4 were able to transfer. I tried playing the MP3s that didn't work in windows media player but they did not play. They are all MP3 files (the ones that worked and didn't work) how can I make the files play and transfer them to iTunes?
  • No more iTunes? How to transfer regular mp3 files onto a new iphone? I just bought my first iphone, & have several hundred CDs burned onto my laptop's hard drive via Window's Media Player. Is there a way to convert these to be compatible with itunes & use on my iphone, or do I need to stick with my non-Apple mp3 player?
  • If I have an mp3 song on my computer, how do I get it onto my iPhone? - 1 If I have an mp3 song on my computer, how do I get it onto my iPhone? I need details on how to do this. I have asked this before and people say things like "copy it over" or "sync it with your itunes". That doesn't help. How do I copy it over. I do not have itunes, at least not that I know of. Jackson, I do not mean to be rude but the question is "HOW?"
